   We have here a New Distributor to replace your 009 or 034 points distributor, these units have a centrifuegal advance, come fitted with electronic ignition (3rd picture) and Vacuum advance. Their are a multitude of advantages to the elctronic ignition  which will become clear once these distributors are fitted ; you will find better starting, better fuel economy. improved performance and no flat spots. Another advantage is the distributor can easily be fitted in 10 mins and timed using a standard timing light, there is no need for any additional wiring as the distributor connections fit directly to the coil which can be 12 or 6 volts. Please note the coil must be between 1.5 and 3 ohms, if you do not have the correct coil we can supply one for £17. The ballast can be removed so the ignition system works on the full 12 volt or 6 volts, so no loss of power to the plugs hence better fuel economy.
