Mobiletron Alternator regulators

Mobilteron has been supplying auto parts for over 30 years and a leader in rotating electric components .

A VOLTAGE REGULATOR regulates the charging voltage that the alternator produces, keeping it between a certain voltage. Most cars run between 12.5 and 14.5 volts and larger commercial vehicles 24 and 26.5 volts which helps to protect the electrical components throughout the vehicle. There is also a system to alert the driver if there is an error with the charging system, this is normally a light,  voltage or amp meter. If the alternator is over or undercharging then a new regulator will need to be fitted.
