NEW 23D LUCAS TYPE DISTRIBUTOR
Of the many makes of distributor found on classic cars the Lucas Distributor is among the most common. They are found principally on most British cars built up to the mid 80,s they include Leyland, Jaguar, Austin, Rover etc there were two main series: the 22, 23 and 25 series; and the later 43, 44 and 45 series. Each type occurs in both 4 and 6 cylinder versions, indicated by the suffix D4 or D6. Within each series the 23 and 43 models differ most in that they are not fitted with vacuum advance systems, we can also supply the 23D and 43D which are built to order.
We can supply any 23D based distributor for your British car, these were mainly fitted with a set of points and condenser we can supply these, or we can supply with electronic ignition £10 extra this proving to be more reliable with better starting and with improved fuel economy, we can supply these in negative or positive earth, we can also supply with side or top entry cap (4 Cly) with screw or push on leads.

5 Drive gear type, I.E Ford worm or slot drive,etc
